The BlackBerry app gives users a way to interact with OPC alarms and values via the Watch*IT OPC Enterprise or Express Editions. It extends Watch*IT OPC functionality in new ways and provides a window on the events and process values from the shop floor. Watch*IT OPC can already send your phone text messages, Tweets on Twitter, and emails when something goes into alarm, but now you can explore your site's current conditions right on your Blackberry.

No matter what you need to watch (temperatures, speeds, or levels to name a few), your BlackBerry can tell you what the current values are and show you trends and graphs from the last 24 hours. You can see any current alarms, acknowledge them, and customize the limits of your own personal alarms events. These values, events, and alarms could come from an Automated Distributed Control system, HVAC systems, a Building Automation System HVAC system or other computerized controll systems.
